Welcome to G((o))ng Tomorrow 2016

From 4 to 12 November forward-looking Danish and international artists are presenting the latest experimental music and sound art across genres and interacting with other art forms at various venues throughout Copenhagen. We take pleasure in being able to invite you along to experiments with instruments, sound images and video art, performances and overtones, classics in new clothes and, especially, some of the best musicians and artists around.

The festival opens its 2nd edition in KoncertKirken, Nørrebro, where you can meet the world’s best string-players as well as performance artists, avant-gardists, composers of the future and film-makers. We will be paid a visit by a high-ranking philosopher, be beaming films and music up to the stars in the Planetarium and taking over a former slaughterhouse in Kødbyen with the sharpest musicians on the impro-scene. During two days in Christianshavns Beboerhus you can experience a listening cinema and ground-breaking concerts before we round off with three days in the high-ambience cellar of Jazzhouse with sound sculptures, an electric habitat, performance literature, galloping noise and video art.
